Finalmente eccomi ragazze! vi sono mancata?:) questo week end a Madrid è davvero volato in un soffio, ma è stato così intenso che mi ha permesso di portare a casa tantissimo materiale ( e tantissimi nuovi amici!) da farvi conoscere e apprezzare. Ma cominciamo dall’inizio con il primo e avventuroso giorno a Madrid…arrivati con ben dodici ore di ritardo a causa di un volo partito troppo presto ( o siamo stati noi a partire troppo in ritardo?mmm mi sa di si), siamo giunti a nella bella capitale alle 9 della sera, perdendoci purtroppo l’apertura del congresso. Dopo una perlustrazione in notturna di Madrid abbiamo deciso di mangiare queste famose tapas che tutti ci hanno consigliato! dopo una scorpacciata di alici e patatatine e due porzioni di tortillas alle patate, abbiamo raggiunto per la prima volta la Gran Via, un corso lunghissimo, pieno di negozi, alberghi di lusso e teatri. Un posto stupendo e suggestivo, molto simile a quegli scenari newyorkesi, popolati da altri palazzi e da una movida incredibile e sopratutto very addicted. Eh già che stile ragazzi! immaginate tutte le tendenze estive e primaverili riversate in una sola via, indossate in ogni salsa e combinazione in una lunghissima sfilata reale, dove la gente comune si trasformava per una sera, in cultori del fashion.
I am now girls! you miss me? 🙂 this weekend in Madrid is actually flown in a breeze, but it was so intense that allowed me to take home so much material (and lots of new friends!) to let you know and appreciate. But let’s start from the beginning with the first and adventurous day in Madrid … arrived twelve hours late because of a flight left too early (or us, we were starting too late? Mmm I know it), we joints in the beautiful capital city at 9 pm, unfortunately wasting the opening of the congress. After a night patrol in Madrid we decided to eat these tapas that we all have recommended! After feasting on anchovies and patatatine and two servings of tortillas potatoes, we reached for the first time the Gran Via, a long course, full of shops, luxury hotels and theaters. A charming and beautiful place, very similar to those scenes in New York, populated by other buildings and an incredible nightlife and above all very addicted. Yeah guys what style! Imagine all spring and summer trends poured in one way, put in any sauce and mix in a real long parade, where ordinary people are transformed for one night, in fashion lovers.
Ma ciò che mi ha colpito più di ogni altra cosa è stata l’immediata sintonia con la gente del posto. Cosa che ho potuto sperimentare direttamente la mattina dopo, all’apertura del mio “primo giorno” di meeting. Dopo aver trovato la sede del congresso, la sala di “ElSite”,ho avuto finalmente l’opportunità di conoscere dal vivo, dopo mesi e mesi di contatti online, la dolcissima e bravissima Dora Marotta, blogger di Dorafashionspace e ambasciatrice italiana dell’evento che mi ha aiutato con la lingua, meno semplice di quel che si pensa:) La mattinata prevedeva la parte più istituzionale, ovvero la presentazine del nostro lavoro e del nostro sponsor tramite una conferenza, trasmessa in streaming mondiale. Dopo l’apertura da parte della blogger spagnola Marian Demenech e del suo bellissimo blog Que Tal Me Queda eccoci alla volta dell’Italia, con me, Dora e la mia cara compagna di avventure Rossella Padolino di The Fashion Twice. Dopo aver discusso la mia presentazione su Dans la Valise e Santo Versace, e aver ascoltato quella di Rossella, eccoci sommerse dalle foto, dai complimenti e dalle interviste, una delle quali potete vederla cliccando QUI. Le presentazioni che hanno chiuso la prima parte di questa giornata sono state quelle di Karla Sarti del sito Mexicoestadimoda e Julie Hidalgo, blogger di“Now Fashionista” del brasiliano Roberto Sena del blog “Lifebehavior”. Ed è stato proprio durante questa mattinata che ho conosciuto le persone splendide che avrebbero vissuto con me quest’avventura…e anche il pomeriggio di shopping che si sarebbe consumato dopo qualche ora..ma di questo vi racconterò domani..godetevi questa prima parte per adesso;)
But what struck me more than anything was the immediate harmony with the locals. What I have experienced firsthand the morning after the opening of my “first day” of meetings. Once you find the conference venue, the hall of “ElSite,” I finally had the opportunity to meet live, after months and months of online contact, the lovely and talented Dora Marotta, Italian ambassador and blogger Dorafashionspace event I helped with the language, less simple than what you think 🙂 the morning included the institutional part, or the a description of our work and our sponsors via a conference, streamed worldwide. After the opening by the Spanish bloggers Demenech Marian and her beautiful blog Que Tal Me Queda here we set out for Italy, with me, Dora, and my dear companion of adventures of Scarlett Padolino The Fashion Twice. After discussing my presentation of Dans la Valise and Santo Versace, and having listened to Scarlett, we are inundated with pictures, the compliments and the interviews, one of which you can see it by clicking HERE. Presentations that have closed the first part of this day were those of Tailors Site Mexicoestadimoda Karla and Julie Hidalgo, blogger “Now Fashionista” the Brazilian Roberto Sena’s blog “Lifebehavior”. And it was during this morning I met wonderful people who would have lived this adventure with me … and in the afternoon of shopping that would be completed after a few hours .. but this will tell you tomorrow .. enjoy this first aside for now;)
